Recycling at Los Reales Sustainability Campus

Scrap Metal

Residents and commercial customers may bring metal appliances and other scrap metal items to Los Reales for recycling at no charge. For any other commercial recycling, please call 791-5000 for information.

Examples of accepted scrap metal:

  • Metal fencing without concrete or cement posts (no chain-link fence)
  • Refrigerators/freezers/air conditioners*
  • Stoves
  • Washers/dryers
  • Evaporative coolers
  • Hot water heaters

*$5.00 Refrigerant Evacuation Fee per appliance

Neighborhood Recycling Center

The Los Reales Sustainability Campus maintains a Neighborhood Recycling Center (NRC) where customers can drop off any recyclable materials that are accepted in the City's Blue Barrel Program.
