ABCs of Water Safety

• Active adult supervision

  Make sure to have adults watch children in and around water with no distractions

• Barriers

  A fence should surround the pool that is at least 6ft tall and have a self-closing, self-latching gate.

• Classes

  Classes for parents/guardians in first aid and CPR and swim lessons for children are highly recommended.

All it takes is less than 2 inches of water for a child to drown. Never leave standing water around your home.
