The Housing and Community Development Department invests more than $3M annually in community non-profits working to tackle our community’s toughest challenges including homelessness, poverty, access to transportation, and workforce development.
The City’s grantmaking is driven by its People, Communities, and Homes Investment Plan (P-CHIP) which is updated every five years and outlines the City’s priorities. The P-CHIP is developed through a comprehensive community engagement and public input process.
