Homelessness is not a crime. The Tucson Police Department partners with government agencies and nonprofit organizations to meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness.

Find services for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness

• Visit the Tucson and Pima County Eviction Prevention/Rental Assistance and Utility Relief Program page.
• Contact the City of Tucson Housing and Community Development Department.
• Email the Tucson Police Department's Homeless Outreach Team: TPDHOT@tucsonaz.gov.

Report issues involving homelessness

• Abandoned property File an online report with Code Enforcement.
• Public property encampment (parks, playgrounds, etc.): Email homelessprotocol@tucsonaz.gov so a Housing and Community Development outreach team can respond and connect people with services.
• Private property encampment (abandoned, vacant property, etc.): Email TPDHOT@tucsonaz.gov so the Tucson Police Department's Homeless Outreach Team can respond and connect people with services.
