Traffic Ticket Enforcement Assistance Program

The Traffic Ticket Enforcement Assistance Program was created to assist AZ State Courts collect fines and fees assessed on individuals as a result of their convictions in these courts.

Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) is notified by these AZ State Courts of assessed fines and fees. MVD will place a hold on all future registration of vehicles owned or co-owned by these individuals. The individual will be required to contact the courts that have indicated there is money owed and will be obligated to pay these fines and fees. Upon payment in full to these courts, the court will notify MVD. The individual (and/or co-owner) may proceed to register vehicle(s).
