Tucson Water’s policy regarding delinquent accounts offers our customers several options to make payments and avoid service interruption.

Due Date and Delinquency Notice

  • The due date on a Utility Services Statement is 20 days after an account is billed.
  • The first delinquent notice is 21 days after the original due date.
  • The second delinquent notice is 7 days after the first delinquent notice is given.

Notification

Our outbound calling system will send a recorded voice message to customers with delinquent accounts 50 days or older and who have received two notices by mail.

The message states that their water service is subject to termination if payment or payment arrangements for the delinquent portion are not made within five days.

The messages are in English

and in Spanish .

The message includes the balance owed and the customer’s account number.
